Interview with General Redwater.

Post by Brickfoot7 on 9/28/2010, 3:03 am

OK I decided I am going to interview random members about their hobby in Lego. So General Redwater is the first to be interviewed.
Brickfoot = Dark Red
General Redwater = Blue

Brickfoot: How did you come up with your username?

General Redwater: It's actually a funny story. I had shadowed EB until I was old enough to join. I realized that there was an Admiral Croissant, a Commodore Hornbricker, and so on. So I thought it was like the thing that we were supposed to do. Make a military name. So I decided General Redwater. After that I realized its abbreviation was GR, which was inscribed on all the cartridge boxes of the British army during colonial times.

Brickfoot: When did you start collecting Lego’s?

General Redwater: I started collecting about 7-8 years ago. Lots of handed down stuff; Great though. Helped me get into it. Then it hit me. I was in grammar school, and my friends loved LEGO. So I decided to "sell" it. Like 3 cents per piece. I lost all my LEGO to that. Than about a month later I bought a few sets with my earnings. I didn't know what else to buy. Than I had a long dark age, lost it all. I recently came back, and started buying up my old sets from Bricklink.

Brickfoot: What is your favorite theme?

General Redwater: Pirates.

Brickfoot: What was your first Lego set?

General Redwater: My first that I remember as a child was a handed down barnacle bay value pack. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=1729-1
I had so much fun with it, it was one of the older set's that my cousin gave to me a few years after it was made. I wasn't old enough to buy that at the time. Great set and I recommend it to everyone. My first set after my dark ages was the Star Wars episode three clone battle pack. I recommend that too.

Brickfoot: What is your most Impressive MOC yet?

General Redwater: Most of the MOCs that I have posted haven't been the best, but the one I'm working on now, a colonial town, is my most impressive. I haven't finished it yet, I just keep adding on more and more. It looks better than anything I've ever made.

Brickfoot: Thats all the time I have so bye for now General.

Tell me what you think of the interview series? If anyone wants to be interviewed say you do. Also if you think I missed any good Questions PM them to me.
Bye for now,

Negativity is not needed. Just because we are interviewing means that we have copied another lego website? I think the interview is great so Well Done Smile

I don't mind being interviewed, but maybe you should have more questions and, if you consider interviewing me, remember this- I'M CRAZY... and I also can't shut up...

Cheers.
