Problems with Pirates of the Caribbean sets

Post by Henri da Flipper on 5/11/2011, 7:13 pm

So I'm starting to grow a fondness for the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, and I'll probably get Cannibal Escape or Isla De La Muerta for my first set, but I need a ship and Queen Anne's revenge just, honestly, seems overpriced and kind of cheesy nothing really to it.

So for my first ship I was thinking of getting something along the lines of the Imperial Flagship(I've been eyeballing it for over a year and I never really was a hardcore pirate fan [sorry, Redwater Quiet ]).

I don't know if there are some cheaper previous sets that'd be more apropriate so fi you could tell me, being you are more pirate fans than I am.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Cheers.

The Imperial Flagship is the best in my opinion. You can't go wrong. It has lots of pieces that could be useful later. Just my opinion.

It's okay Redcoat , anyway I would reccomend(besides flagship) Brickbeards Bounty as a starter. It is very easy to mod at a cheap price, and you can build your own ship later with the pieces. Any Classic Pirates ships are now too expensive for a first ship; though sometimes ebay has a good deal on them. Classic Smile

I found brickbeard's bounty for 60 euro so I may get it.

Thanks Stabbin', Thanks Redwater.

Just for that, I may make a banner and a background just for the pirates sub forum :D
