Happy Easter

Post by Henri da Flipper on 4/24/2011, 2:04 pm

So it's easter, probably the most distorted Christian Holiday, even more than X-mas.

So I'm gonna lay away my ranting ways for easter and Just hope you find your Egglaying bunnies.

So how's your Easter Going, how much chocolate/almonds have you eaten and what did you get in your baskets(I haven't received a basket yet, I might get like 10 euro, or sumthing)

This is also a place to discuss your easter traditions, usually everyone comes to my house(we used to go to my vacation home until we sold it, I miss the egg-hunting), we alssso recently found out some of our close friends are actually very distant cousins so they'll come as well. This year I may start a new tradition, Playing YuGiOh with Lemon.

So Here's a funny video from a series called "Better With Cosby" by Dave Thomas.

If I make a Rant, I may post it here as well, Cheers and happy Spring Break or whatevs.

I got 2 chocolate bunnies, some Reese's Mini cups, and a lot of chocolate. I've also been spending my reserved money on a lot of stuff. Here's the list of what I'm getting (or got already)-

Imperial T-shirt
12" Vintage Boba Fett Figure
POTF2 Greed0
Galactic heroes Green Clone Trooper
Darth Vader PEZ Dispenser
Miniature 2-1B Figurine
AT-AT Commander

Imperial Jump Trooper
12" Clone Trooper Captain (Red)

All of that adds up to around $50! I got a lot of good deals! Happy Easter!

Got an Empire Magazine(X-Men Red) and a 500 top films book, my granddad gave me both, he made the book extremely hilarious by making his own short reviews of the films, here's one:

Batman Begins: Suficient.
Battleship Potemkin: Historically Wrong! Lying propaganda movie! Under Suficient.

My favorites thus far:

Apollo 13: Watchable
Avatar: Space Pocahontas(in 3DDDDDDDD!)

I remind you this is a collector's item being my grandfather is the most reliable source of film history insight in my country, the reason why he doesn't make a profession out of it(teaching/writting reviews) is because he doesn't like other people's points of view, says the reviewers exagerate the films and don't know good cinema even if it kicks them in the groin. He is considered the wisest man when it comes to film in all forms that ever stepped in the portuguese cinemateque
