...The Original TBH Mystery...

Welcome to the city of Brick Hope, a peaceful city with close to zero when it comes to crime. But sadly, one fateful day, 5 people are murdered in The Brick Market downtown. The city is in fear, and it's people, in turmoil...

Welcome to The Original TBH Mystery Day 2! This mafia game will be like no other, for the character will be your sig-fig! This a refreshment on the rules and guidelines of the mafia game, then the game will truly begin!

Please re-read all the information below before posing!
- Please stay in character during the game (not in the sign-up topic/general discussion, though)
- You can have "disputes" with another person, but IN CHARACTER! It must not really harm the other person, and it must be related to the mafia game.
- If you wish to state an issue with the mafia game, please PM me.
- Off-topic posts and out-of character posts will not be tolerated, and deleted.
- Be kind and respectful.
- After 2 days (game days, not real ones), PM me on who you think is in on the crimes and vote them out. (Only 1 person) Please state one form of evidence to support your vote
- Have fun!

Day 2

A gas leak at a local Natural gas plant causes some natural gas so come afloat into the local post office, swiftly and abruptly abandoning the place.
A hazmat crew worker, obviously worried and concerned, walks through the office to rid of it's unwanted gases.

"This place is pretty creepy", uttered to worker, a face stricken upon him that signifies he has a bad feeling.

CRASH

"Huh! What the heck was that!" exclaimed the worker. he went on to work...unknowing of the presence...of another...

A man dressed head-to-toe in nothing but a black jumpsuit follows him through the hallways, carrying a Tommy Gun.

CHK CH CHK CHK

The innocent worker was being fired at with the dreaded gun. After that, the killer left, came back, and burned the man. This scene is to nasty to watch.

MURDER SEEN ON SCREEN! MURDER SEEN ON SCREEN! Yelled the many television reporters. One of them at the time, was Octan.

"I am here at the site of the shooting, right in front of the nailed-up doors of Brick Hope's once most favored post office. The scene has been aught on tape. No evidence, except a severely burnt body has been found. We have been trying our best to catch this UNSUB, but this video was recorded last night. SIR!" He went over to Mr. Lestrange for some insight.

"Can you give us some information on what you think happened?"
"Zwell, I'm'z not zo familia with dis part of ze country, but I am a paintiour, and know that onze zelf, iz ze art. Zis man, you see, he is a very..lonely man with a past, terrible azident thaat haz left him paralyzed from zis true zelf. Zis crime in our beloved zity must stop!"

You are quick to give a name. I would have said the French Guy. With that accent I wouldn't rule out the chance he is off. Grin

But seriously, what solid evidence do we have this time? It's either the same person from before or a gang tradition.

Why are you calling me demented? I dislike all kinds of guns and would never take a life, the most I'd do is knock out a guy. The only weapons I use are my staff and my nunchaku and I haven't brought either with me.

I have a question people, why the hell (excuse my language, sometimes saying "heck" is too childish) do all of you guys have guns? Seriously? I don't have one. How would this man know of the gas leak? Was there something at the office he needed? A secret letter? A letter bomb? How'd he get in. We need to answer those questions first.

Yes, this person (or people) seem to want to use tommy guns. Not one single man, though, could do this all alone. He'd need a team of smart, sly, tricky people to help him pull off the kills. He would need entrance grants to many places (like near the bakery, or in the post office), how'd he get those? I think it's a group of killers, not one man.

If they were able to get entrance grants they must have some government connection...

How so? Even though I am the Mayor I can't just go waltzing into a crime scene or sealed up building as I please!

The gas leak was probably broadcast on the news before the murder. Anyone who saw it could have known there was a gas leak. They may have intentionally caused the gas leak in order to obtain an item they wanted. Which building did the gas leak originate in?

*More pictures, more evidence, more death will come soon, in day 2.*

The gas leak probably originated at the gas plant 2 buildings over (Post office, abandoned house, gas plant). But gas might of been brought into the post office. WE need to see some security recordings of the gas plant and Post Office.

AFTER EVERYONE HAS POSTED, VOTING WILL START! REMEMBER THIS QUOTE WHEN SENDING YOUR VOTE!

- After 2 days (game days, not real ones), PM me on who you think is in on the crimes and vote them out. (Only 1 person) Please state one form of evidence to support your vote

I know that, but it may be possible the person (or people, as I presume) went through the entrance grant system a little quickly so they could get in...

Interesting situation. I really dont know what to think with all of these gun theories flying around. Do we need more evidence? Yes, Can we get anywhere at the minute? Maybe if we work together to deliberate.

Well, I agree with working together, but we need to consider that we are letting the person/ people that commited the murders help us, and if that person takes advantage of his position, we might never find our killer.

I think we all pack a little protection........you never know when somebody might want to knock you off. Doing good, or bad, things might get in the way of these.......saying "people" would be lying. Anyway, this new death is quite sad, and scary. I have questions. Why was the worker alone? And was the killer wearing a hazmat suite? This is quite confusing.

Hm... you'd think they'd send in multiple people to help find a gas leak... and I also think the man may have been an employee at the gas station to be able to know how to get into the gas station...

A gas station, do you mean a natural gas plant, Jack? And I agree, whoever did this must've known that the worker would be there, he knew the plans! He might of even made them, by causing the leak.

This just came into the council room, Tommy Gun bullets were found near the natural gas tank that leaked. It has been patched up, and further investigation must continue at the post office, so no one by mail can send anything in or out for the next week or so.

Their plan could have been to cut off the post. I would watch the telephone lines too. That would nearly cut us off completely. It's safe to say that they either used the post to communicate and wanted to be able to cover that up or don't use the post to communicate.

My court is still running.... I would never dream to live my home, dead or alive.... We should not let anyone leave, they could be the killer[s]!

Agreed. Whoever is in charge of transportation shouldn't let anybody enter or exit town... alive...

This is not my home, it's a quaint little cottage by the coast. My wife and kids live there. Besides, this is your goverment's job, I'm a senator. You should be able to figure this out on your own. I also think this case is iffy. No one caught, and no survaliance released yet, it seems to me the police are covering things up.

I believe "Lego City Boy" is keeping this information because it show's that he was one of the people who did it!

I think Redwater and Lego City Boy are our two suspects, Redwater wants to flee the scene of the crime and Lego City Boy is hiding from giving us more information!

~* STAFF NOTE: LEGOCITYBOY DOESN'T HAVE COMPUTER ACCESS AT THE MOMENT. PLEASE TAKE THIS INTO CONSIDERATION AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU. *~

Why would Redwater leave if he was part of the mafia? I just don't see how leaving this city would benefit a mafia member. They have a purpose for what they are doing and I highly doubt they are finished.

I'm not fleeing the scene of the crime, I'm fleeing for my life. If we try to figure this out, we will be targeted. One by one. As JCC pointed out, why would they leave if the've gotten this far? Question

Ah, I like this a challenge. I'm not the killer, nor am I involved. As I am a senator, I don't have the time, and I'm not located here. I could not do carry out such operations as these.......people.......think they can. Bah! I see how quickly you are to blame and turn on a friend. Are you trying to blame so quickly as not to be caught? Trying to keep a low profile, eh? Is it YOU? *points finger*

Well, perth, you seem to be quick to point fingers at anybody who wants to leave this town, with no other solid evidence...
